Yep, it should be better than the 10-12k miles I get out of the shinkos. They are great but burn centers off fast when you do freeway rides to get between twisties.

Nice so close! I finally got everything done on the GL last week and got out 2 times, then it got crazy cold and I had to teach MSF all weekend. Hoping to get out more later this week.

I hear you. I have not had 5 mins to get the oil change on the GL or work with Holly on the boat. I am hoping to get to both tonight but we're both fighting a cold so we'll see how we feel after supper. Last night we just went and got ice cream instead of doing any work LOL.
Ha, I know that feeling. I just finished the timing belt swap on the GL1000 yesterday and still have to do the oil I've had all winter to do LOL. Looks great in paint!
Oh been there, done that 2 x and it sucks. I made out riggers for my table to put on to prevent that when doing top heavy jobs. Yours was a strap failure but still it always sucks.
