What cables do I need as a minimum for my Suzuki TS125 -82

Hello!

I'm stripping down my Suzuki TS125 to a dirt/track/non road bike. My plan is to go without any lights on it.
Do I need at battery for that setup?

Thanks

Depending on the year, you may need just as little as a wire from the battery to the coils (with a switch in between).

You can plug the alternator directly to the ignition on the TS. Remove the battery and wiring for the battery, the two-wire plugs should plug together. You are powering up the ignition module. You can install a kill button on the handlebar that grounds the positive side to shut it off, or you can just kill it with the clutch.

Problem solved. I have one cable from the engine to the R/R and from the R/R to the battery. And another cable from the engine to the ignition coil. Started right up :)

Klart som korvspad :)

Thanks!
