Whoot! My lovely wife told me for my 40th birthday I am getting a coupon that reads if we can afford it I get to go this year. I booked the vacation time today, I am starting to get some moonlighting gigs painting etc. so that $$ will get stashed for the trip so affording is looking good too! I will do everything I can to make it this year!
I will be there looking forward to it all year.
We take a vacation in Florida every October and I always tell my wife to plan around this weekend because that is where I will be.
I will be bringing 2 or 3 bikes this year.
Will be back with my CB985CR Version 2.0.
Look forward to seeing everyone.
This is my one advantage I have with this show it is only 70 miles from me.
Wow, I wish I was that close, I have to ride or drive 1500 miles one way to get there. When I made it to Mama Tried III it was 1800 miles as I lived further away. We left at 4:30 pm on thursday night and drove to Danbury CT. slept then made Kiley's place in Moody at 11 pm Friday night. Crossed 2 time zones too. I hope this year to ride and have a little longer to do the trip.

Wow, that IS an advantage!! It's gonna be 16 long hours behind the wheel for us to get there!! Totally worth it though!!
My brother (Seaglider) and I will be driving down in his Yukon with a trailer haulin' the 2 bikes. I'm not totally sure which bikes at this point. My h2 is running but brothers h2 project is progressing very slowly.
The back-up plan would be to bring his custom zrx1200 and for me to buy my buddies zrx1100 by then. Time will tell.
We're planning to stay at the Hilton Perimeter Park with Tim and the Lads. Which reminds me. I'd better get that room booked!
We were down there in 2012! The trip had been hyped to no end but completely lived up to the build-up. It was an amazing weekend! 8)
Can't wait to see all the familiar faces and meet some new faces as well.
Probably just me, and I might ride the ZRX from Abq unless I get my truck back on the road then I'll haul it. 1400 or so miles one way. I'll be camping wherever they'll let me. I'll bring NM beer.
