1979 KZ650 build - "Painters Tape"

well i gave up the paint change idea.. ill do that next winter.

off to bigger and better things this winter.

it was not fun pulling this thing by myself.

JEBUS, you pulled that by yourself? I had a hell of a time with the 550's engine! That 650 must have sucked. But at least you are done with the "hard part" eh? ;)

Wha 'cha up to with your scoot?

I haven't been on the DTT site in months.... I started hauling mine apart to do some other work to the frame, wiring etc and noticed that you're doing the same. Mine is almost in the same state of affairs, however I haven't wrestled the engine out yet.

Any big plans or just dealing with odds-n-ends?
 
not sure yet.. going with the flow..

must do:
top end gaskets and clean up the motor.
rebuild front master cylinder

want to do:
paint the lower forks
clean up the hubs.

thinking new:
rear shocks/springs
front springs/oil
steering bearings
brake pads
