got pretty much everythind welded in with the seat / turns / plate / battery
need to go back in and clean things up.

That does look great. I debated on keeping or ditching the side covers and ended up keeping them...now you have me thinking about ditching them again. VZ

smoothed out the turn signal tabs and the rear end..
got the battery tray and holder done.. it sits straight when the battery is in.
got the seat bolt posts in.
bought a cycle lift too.. that made today real nice.

Cool man. Lookin good. Your headlight brackets make me want to try flipping mine over. I think it looks more streamline how you have at it as apposed to sloping up like I do.

That's the same way I mounted mine, I think they look much better that way. When mounted the other way they take away from the lines of the bike.

been kicking this idea around for a bit.

leather is yellow and black..
blue would be that mexico blue they use on porsches.

ohh boy..

its not the exact color.. but just for now and 3.50 for a can works for the time being... im just pumped that ill have all the same color parts...
cant wait for friday when ill have the stripes on and i can throw it on the bike.

Very cool amigo! I took a closer look at your seat rail work...wooboyo! That's stout, won't have to worry about flex there. Nice fab work...

change in plans..

the light blue was too light
for the summer ill rock something closer.. i call it painters tape blue..
fender and seat are pretty much done and ready to stripe and clear... first coat on the tank tonight..

mang are those stripes gonna be sick with that yellow i got.

got the exhaust /clipons on.. started to paint.. its just a shake can.. no clear yet.. have to do the yellow and black lines, then clear..
the photoshop picture of the stripes is on page 5 at the bottom.
probabaly in a couple years ill get a real paint job. forgot to put on the front fender.

everything is just mocked up. so ull see various wires and such out of place.. the seat is just sitting tehre.. no upholstery yet on the seat.. that will be the seat pan, a thin pad wrapped in black leather.

Hey that's sharp! The deeper blue really does work well too.
Seat "pad" looks a little....spartan though, but very business like. Heh...
 
its pretty wild...
if u look at the last pic the gas cap is not on.. its painters taped over..
the color exactly matches in real life.
