Looks good man... couple of questions...How did it handle? What's the monoshock off of? Which grips are those?

grips are ebay specials, shock is a re-sprung cbr600 shock. with the new o-ring chain / tires / and mono set up it felt like riding a very loud and slow new sport bike. Very happy so far, but our roads are still very dirty form winter so time will tell how it feels out on the twisties, but so far compared to my other "stock" GS is feels wonderful.

arms are killing me, ha! hand sanded and polished tank/tail.

Really, really like the shape of the exhaust sweeping under the engine like that, frames it all very nicely from that angle.

Undecided on the tail; I'm thinking the whole subframe would have looked better slightly upswept, and definitely with some kind of bracing. I'm sure it's built really tough and all, but it just *looks* like it's going to fall off if that makes sense? :)

thanks!, what you consider the iffy part is exactly what i was going for, with a rider on it looks as if the tail is just floating there. I cant wait to get the seat on as a few more inches of padding will definitely change how the bike looks from this angle. Right now with no "meat" in that area it does look weird.

I did consider tilting the tail up when the frame was being modified, but for my personal taste it sent it over the edge of looking to streetbike'ish.

That's definitely a great looking tail. I'm surprised that little bit of bracing is enough to hold it. Keep up the good work!

been riding it for a few weeks when its nice, prob about 200km. So far so good! Feels great, only issue to date is I nailed the be all end all of a pothole and marked up the tail light. If it happens again i may have to raise it a bit.
