I'm liking the build. The rear sets idea is a good one. I'm doing a Cb350f as well but I have only just started. Keep up the good work mate

Couldn't you leave the stock opening on the tank and run a hose from the tank opening back towards the back of the bike to a universal petcock and then the fuel line out to the carbs?

make angle shim plates that go between the head and the spigot mount and tilt the carbs down

as i recall they sit on a angle anyways and that would just make the level

make them 3/8 to half inch and they will make the carbs sit back a bit to

Space the carbs back to get the clearance you need. As much as an inch would help add plenum to make up for running the velocity stacks without the air box anyway.

Im not sure I am sticking with the stacks. I might run K&N filters or even have an airbox made up. I may just have to bite the bullet and cut on this tank. I have a buddy with a red 350F too with a worse looking tank I may swap him out. Think I will move on for now, I have plenty of other stuff to do to it.

Here it is without the bowl on it...may have a solution though

^That's exactly what I had in mind when I posted before. Just didn't have a picture to go with it. I think that will solve your problem.
