Woke up at 3:21 this morning. So, driven by a nicotine/caffeine burst. I got busy.
Its pretty much a complete hack job. But, a job none the less. And it gives me a good idea what I want. It will last til next winter and I re-do it. :
grind, cut, drill...repeat. knocked the old front fender off its brace and pulled rear off.
Funny, they pretty much "snap" together then just drill and bolt her up. Also, funny the trimmed areas to clear forks pretty much fit swingarm perfectly.
Bonus, F-ed up paint already matches. 8)
And here she is. I tried to get the front a rear braces to be near the same angle.
I do wish she had a little more clearance on the tire...but hell isnt 2mm enough! Kidding, its maybe 1/2 inch I woulda rather seen 3/4.
If I need to adjust chain this season Im screwed. LOL Cutting a link out of chain will give me the clearance Ide like.
Best treatment for old tail light bolt holes...NOTHING. HA ;D
The hack job.
