ha, I am just mapping out possible routes, still not sure what way to go, CXMan's offer may be the best idea. I sold the GL1100 parts bike so I have almost all the money I need to make the trip now.

I'm probably right along your route. Let me know what day you're heading down, I may be able to ride along. If not make sure you've got my contact info in case someone breaks down or anything and you need extra help.
 
Barber is way more fun on two wheels. At least they have parking sorted much better than in previous years.
