CB/CL 350 rear brake info.

alzcbz

Been Around the Block
Putting a bike together from random parts. The PO gave me boxes of parts.
Having an issue putting the rear brake assembly together.
Would appreciate if someone could measure the length of their rear brake stay and rod.

This is what I have:
Brake stay: 13 1/4" hole-center to center
Brake rod: 22 3/4"

One more thing. Where does the rear brake return spring attach?
My frame was cut and I believe that went with it.

Re: CB/CL rear brake info.

CB/CL 160
CB/CL 175
CB/CL 305
CB/CL 350
CB/CL 360
CB/CL 450
Lots of CB/CL's out there

Do you want the specific dimension for any SPECIFIC CB/CL

Even the CB/CL 350 and 360 are different.

Sorry about that. I have updated the title.
CB/CL350.

The PO had 100/305/350/360s. No telling what parts I got.

That happens...just explain what you what...No 350 in my garage right now, only 750- and 360...so I can't get you a measurement for a 350..

That makes sense. If mine was that length, the brake assembly would work as it should.
Looks like I'll be making a new stay.
Thanks.

Care to get rid of some of those parts?

If so, could you post some pics? Particularly any CB100 parts you may have, such as tank, seat, or headlight.

And if you care not to, still would like to see pics of that project you're working on.

Thanks bro.

Budlite...
I've gone through most of the parts in the bins. Just some misc hand controls, battery brackets, side covers, signals, etc...
Most all is 350/360 universal stuff.
I'm on my second build from parts. First was mainly stock CB350. This one a café 350.
