Cb750 rear set brake side help

Purchased a set of dcc fully indexable rear sets. Won't be having any problems matching it up to the gear side but can't figure out how to run the rear brake. I've seen a few photos, some guys run the linkage to the original brake lever spot then have the brake rod go back to the rear brake. Others they run the rear set linkage directly to the rear brake arm.If I was to do that I would need to have a new rod made with a bend and the proper end. Was just curious what you guys did and if you have photos

Run it to the original brake pedal location then. What are people using there? Guessing this is the best option
