This isn't exactly a garage, per se. Just a couple of weeks ago a handful of friends and myself went on on an 1100 square foot space downtown and converted it to a private shop for ourselves. It's so nice having a dedicated workspace.
Forgive the mediocre photos, I was using my camera's crappy on-board flash for most of them.
This is the first floor/main work area:
Double metal doors make moving bikes in and out a breeze.
View from the door. Couple Hondas, Swan's (of Gold Star restoration fame) Triton, and a Yamaha RT1. There's a couple residents missing or out of frame.
Francoise Hardy and my CB360 currently on the lift. Excellent investment.
Most importantly...
Basement:
Big trap door leading downstairs.
Room 1. Couple of CB frames/rolling chassis, light storage, and small woodworking area.
View from the other side. Some parts bikes and a compressor for the lift upstairs.
Room 2, through the door in the preceding photo. Currently unused by us, but will likely just be additional storage. Lots of junk in there that is not our doing.
View from the other side.
Finally another (also currently unused) room way in the back (technically front) of the basement.
