Dirt From Studs In Crankcase.... Cleaning Tips?

While pulling the head/cylinders a bunch of dirt and sand came out from around the studs and has fallen into the crankcase. Not a handful but a good amount and enough that I am posting on here. Can I just pull the oil plug and try to flush it out? I really was trying to avoid pulling it all apart. This oringally started to swap from the 750-900 cams.....
