You have been busy!

Are you going to remove the starter gear housing?

If you need an unmolested crankcase cover at less than new price, I have a spare.

Crazy

How much do you want for it? Might be good then if it all goes wrong at least I can still ride it with the origanal.

Hopefully my clip ons should be here this afternoon so I might get to have a ride at the weekend.

Seems a bit silly to pay for freight back to WA!

With freight from here included it would end up about $50. See what price IkoniK will give you.

This bit is for you Von,

To get the top fork yoke off, take the two bolts holding the speedo assembly out and tilt the clocks forward out the way.

Then undo the two bolts in the top of the fork legs.

Then the big steering bearing bolt needs to come off, mine was tightened by a gorilla so best if you can get a 30mm socket if it's like mine.

Here is the yoke with everything undone.

And the bolts

With the top crown off you are just left with the two fork leg caps. Make sure you get your bike on a stand or lift the front wheel off the ground.

That stainless header and retro muffler is going to look mint, Liam. Looking fwd to your pics when it's installed. And I hope the sound's going to be a huge step up from the stock, without it sounding 'too much' ...

Btw, you mentioned the 'flange is not right' ... ? What was the issue there ? Easy fix ?

Haz

I think it's another angry gorilla built my bike moment I think it may be the studs are a little off or bent but I will check that tomorrow.

OORacing emailed me saying they have fitted 8 so far with no problems so I don't think it's the flange.

I might just open the flange holes a bit so it will go on.

The tail tidy is finished, just need a tail light and the back end is done.

I will get better pics over the weekend.

Did you fabricate a bracket for the rear end after removing the rear guard?

No I had a fender eliminator left over for my ZX6R, seems to fit ok and you can't see much of it once the plate is on. I did have to cut a bit off it though.
