What a great resource very informative. I am a new member, in Christchurch NZ, looking to get one of these next spring when we get in to our, post quake, rebuilt house.
The local dealer sells the red framed 125 and 50 here in Christchurch. I contacted the factory about the possibility of getting a factory supplied 125 with chrome unrestricted muffler. Unfortunately they replied "Regarding the chrome muffler, acturally we are selling them as tuning part, cause it's without any catalyst or restriction. On the vehicle we can only mount the black one with catalyst to meet the homologation requirement."
Intriguingly, they also attached some pics of the muffler attached to a bike, see below. Interesting to see that it is mounted on an SX150-17 Sacin Skyteam model. I can't find anything about that model on the web, perhaps it is someone's project bike. I have asked them more about this bike and whether it is possible to get it to NZ, even with a black exhaust. Also asked whether they would ship a chrome muffler to NZ. Will keep you posted.
