'66 Hornet chop

Billy Slicks

If ain't broke, I'll fix it....
This is The bike that takes me to and from work everyday.
Its as reliable as a Brit will ever get which means I still have to wrench on it every 2 days or so to keep it ticking like a clock.....

Call it what you want. I call it a lane splitter, cos thats what i use it for.
Its fast and dangerous as hell. Its lit itself on fire and been hit by a car and it still kicks over every day to take the abuse.

No front brake, no gauges, no bullshit.

I put alot of work into it. Everything except the bottom end has been rebuilt. All new electrics, way too many custom fabbed parts.
Used to be shiny and pretty, now its dirty and rugged the way i like 'em.....

bad ass! Love the bike man. How do those tires ride? I was on the fence with those, so I wound up with some dunlops. I've been told the cokers are rough.

They actually are not Cokers, they are Firestone deluxe.
Front is a 4x19
rear is a 4x18

They are really soft and grippy which is good and bad.
Bad in the way they are super bouncy with a hard tail.
Good because they track well in the corners

I put the same tires on my RD. And they seem to handle just the same.

I'd say the only down side is rain, They stink in the rain

Here you go man

The black tank is how it started out before we cut it up and re-worked the tunnel.

The tins were metal flake purple before the accident...

ahh ok, I actually thought it was a licensing thing with Firestone that coker was the manu of these tires. Good to know. I love the look of them, super nice. Much better than any whitewall out there.

Whether or not you like the bike (and I do) that thing is real as fuck.

Ape hangers and sissy bars are NOT my thing but I have to make an exception here...that bike is seriously bad-ass! ;)
