Have a 76 CB750 SS. I found a deal on a set of CBR wheels Im thinking of buying. How much trouble would I be getting myself into fittiing these wheels to the bike? Is there a similar wheel that would be a better option?

Re: Wheel Swap

Did a 500 with those wheels.

Had to machine the rear wheel down a bit, the sprocket carrier, and different cush rubbers to line the chain up, and weld a caliper stay on the swingarm. Used the CBR forks, so no work there really.

PM me what you're looking to pay for the set you posted. I have a set in the shop, along with a complete set of forks, with rotors, calipers, clip-ons, clutch perch, and master cylinder. Have two rear ends, one with a fox shock. Be easier to run the swingarm from the CBR, than to do all the work to run the wheel in the stock swinger.
