bobber fender question

maybe im overthinking this, but im getting a 7metalwest fender for my XS650. i have a tire thats like 4.4" wide. do i get the 4.5" wide or 5" wide?

im worried that if i get the 4.5" one then itll look clean, but itll rub, especailly since i plan on doing some touring and i dont want to be have my tire rubbing holes in my sleeping bag the entire time

but i dont want to get a 5" one if itll be too goofy looking and have a huge gap. if you cant tell, im a fan of a tight fit. so i dont want the fender to be too big if it doesnt need to be

what do you guys think?

Ask these 7metal west people you speak of.

Get the 5". Thats a 1/4" each side,still narrow. With a 4.4" tire width I don't think you would have any clearance with a 5.5" fender. To narrow would look as bad as to wide.
