Let's hope it's not an old Lucas 2MC. :)

I last fitted one of those to a '57 T100 Triumph with Lucas alternator and K2F magneto. OK it wasn't in 57. It was fitted in '70 or thereabouts.

That said, I have no idea who actually manufactured those old Lucas capacitors. Who knows. Maybe the same people that are still making them.

Sparx makes modern 2MC caps, they work great.

I still have at least half a dozen ORIGINALS that still spark just fine.

The "problem" is usually dirty/loose/broken connections, or overcharging due to failed/improperly mounted zener diodes. (In other words, capacitors don't typically "fail" on their own)

Got a CrazyPJ tach block off plug. Safely arrived in the mail today, thanx PJ!!

The first of four CB650 engines. Somehow, I became a collector of these.

My wife and I bought a couple two car garages , and there is even a house attached to one of them. I am pretty excited not to be working out of a one-car garage here soon.

Good get, buddy! I drove by there again the other day, it's looking great and should work well for you. Mazeltov!

Will you have to cut through the neighbor's carport to do laps with the swamp donkey? Looks great! Hope you get cool neighbors, too!

I really need to move. I just put two bikes in my tiny back yard so I could squeeze the wife's Fiat into the 1 car garage. Life in Toronto on a 17 x 120 foot lot.

Wait....WHAT???? 17' wide lot? I'd love to see a photo of THAT house! Even a 12' wide mobile home would only have a 5' side yard...

My house in Philadelphia was 1645 sq ft and on a 15' x 90' lot. That's called living in a city. LOL
