Can't believe I missed this thread before. Great looking XS, nice transformation from special to roadster. For a cafe seat, I bought mine from Dave at Fastwing. Very nice quality and I love the pad/cover that came with it. He has several styles to choose from as well as other bits for the 650. If you just want to add a bump, I like the look you get when cutting the rear of a matching tank- then the lines of the bump match the tank.

I'm finally starting to finish up the small projects for the xs. I've been working on my BMW R90 to get it rideable so i can move it out of my brothers garage and now that's done. I never got to the pinstripes on the side covers, I know it's not professional but i like it and i did the striping and paint myself

Got a ton of stuff done (now that I don't work during the day)
Question, I put my new BikeMaster chain on and it didn't come with a master link just a normal link, which i pressed on is that normal?

Like to see them once you have them mounted. I just put Loaded gun rearsets on mine- feel a lttle high, but haven't ridden with them yet. keep up the great work. I don't put nearly that much effort into the asthetics!

I got this one becsuse the outside is rounded and will give me more options with the clipons. I'll probably gring off the guage mounts

How do you like that hydraulic clutch? Is it just one of those pit bike hydraulic clutches from ebay or did you get it from Hughes Handbuilt?
 
It's Hughes hydro clutch and is pretty good. I think Hugh is developing a new hydto clutch setup. The only thing I don't like is how tiny the lever is. But I guess I could modify a matching one.

Has anyone done a clutch over haul, springs, plates, ect? I was reading that the EBC plates are the best. And the http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=171013803214 springs are good?
