An absolutely perfect day for another run to Bald Hill!

I'm still not used to being able to accelerate uphill.

Spotted a lyre bird running through the bush, a first time for me on this stretch of road.

Apologies to our British cousins for the blue stuff in the background:

Slightly off topic but this pic was taken in June 2011 on the Scottish Coast between Ullapool & John O Groats (I'm the handsome dude in the yellow jacket)

A looong way (and time) away from the south east!

Crazy

Actually I was based in the South East at the time, currently I'm in the North West

roughly it was

Day 1 Aylesbury to Dunfermilne 400 miles
Day 2 Dunfermline to John O Groats 257 miles
Day 3 John O'Groats to Applecross 177 miles
Day 4 Applecross to Carlilse 303 miles
Day 5 Carlilse to Tewksbury 232 miles
Day 6 tewksbury to Aylesbury 78 miles

That's my old ST1100 just poking her nose in

I have confirmed my order for an Ace today with the supplying dealer. He has spoken to Charlie at Skyteam Uk about supplying a derestricted exhaust and new jets. Skyteam also suggest changing the rear sprocket for a smaller one. I think I remember someone on here saying that the chain needs shortening to fit this, is this correct. What do you guys reccomend?

Some minor changes!

Made a new bracket for the brake line:

Trimmed a bit more off the sprocket cover:

Replaced some rusted nuts that were annoying me with stainless items -

Exhaust clamp:

Shock mounts - these were hard to find and not cheap, being metric fine pitch:

But best of all - new tyres!

The original rear was without tread in the centre, so it had to go:

Seems I have a wee exhaust leak between the header and the muffler - would a bit of high temp silicone gasket maker do the trick?

Thanx..! :)
Yes, it's a 50cc with a big bore kit, and 22mm carburetor.
The twin headlights are fitted with xenon (35w) to get some more light without straining the battery too much.
At the moment I'm fitting Michelin m45's and relocating the battery, so I can get rid of the air filter box.
