Coast to Coast
I have bad habits. Since my first project (which was a terrible example of a CB360 cafe racer) I’ve had exactly 39 motorcycles.
This bike is number 34.
You know when you drive so far for a craigslist post that you feel obligated to buy? Well that’s what happened here. There were no pictures and when I got there I figured, “Eh, it’s fifty bucks and I drove an hour.”
It was in a shack with a dirt floor. The kickstand was down and functioning, but it was completely rotted out at the bottom. It had to have been sitting there for long long time.
I had loaded the roller into my truck and was about to leave when I asked if he had anything else to go with it. Oh yea, pieces of the engine in a 5 gallon bucket. Whoopie. Guess I’ll be doing a piranha or lifan install.
Anyways. It’s been sitting in my basement almost a year taking up space. I had too much bourbon the other night and bought some tires and rear shocks for it, so I guess drunk Pierce wants me to get started
