Thanx! :) It's a fun ride now... and it gets quite a lot of attention!
Planning to fit some kind of rear hugger fender, so I can remove the mat I fitted to the frame.
I think that will give the bike a more lightweight look, as it'll expose more of the frame.
I've still got to relocate the battery under the seat hump, first tho...
Not sure about the frame colour, but I'll probably change it during next winter (maybe, that dark blue Honda racing colour).
I really love that "UN-blue" frame on yours! It really makes the bike stand out from the crowd.

The bottle is not connected at the moment.
It wouldn't be road legal here in Norway. So for now, it's just for show. ;)
The clipons made the bike a lot more nimble.
The way you connect to the road as you dive in to the bends is quite astonishing!
The bike seems like it would work well with bigger engine now...like a 250cc ;)
So...who knows what's to come... :D

I find the 150cc to be just about perfect for the bike.

Crazy

Check out my thread regarding custom ace parts, I can provide a set of brackets to turn a front guard into a rear hugger if you haven't increased tyre width from stock. You should be able to get a spare front guard through your local dealer.

Hi Novgarod, If your wanting to re-locate battery see thread "RE-LOCATING BATTERY" It's not hard to do and you don't have to buy a new battery carrier as you use the original.

Just wanted to update anyone interested in tuning the 50cc Ace :)

I have done the following modifications:
* 72cc cylinder
* High compression top, more profiled cams
* Tuning exhaust (no cat, no EGR)
* 22mm carb
* 40 tooth rear sprocket (20% higher gear ratio)
* Performance CDI
* New better quality spark plug
* Michelin M45 tires

It's a big improvement, but frankly I was hoping for a bit more. But then again, the displacement is still tiny. The main problem though is the missing 5th gear. Despite lacking power and gears it is a fun ride overall :)
