Great looking bike! I'm jealous as I've looked for a 1952 for many, many years. I've had several 51 and 53 pans, but no 52! I don't think you will have any problem with the tire/rim combination. I'm running a rear 19" 2.5 rim with a 4.00 x 19 tire. But I did run 130 tire on a 2.5 17" rim on another bike.
