300mm Rotors for a 1982 kz1000 front wheel

VN1600 (certain years are full floating others are rigid) - had it on my old Z1000J, worked a treat, but you have to be very gentle when breaking. Even on the racetrack with hot qualifiers on the front wheel you could overbrake the frontwheel.

Hi, Why do you say be gentle with braking on these rotors? As in they brake too hard?

I'm fitting a kz front wheel to a R1 front end and calipers, so I need 320mm rotors with the same 7 bolt rotor spacing. Else I will have to shave 20mm off the caliper mounting points and run the 300mm rotors...

Exactly. The setup shown above was capable of overbreaking the front wheel up to at least 100 kph, if the correct 14mm brake pump was used.

I am not aware of any 320 disks with this bolt pattern.
