2006 CBR600rr Daily Rider project

Bonehead

I am wrong... A lot. Don't worry, I know
Is this the right forum? If not feel free to move Mods ;D

Bought an '06 CBR600rr off one of the guys at the shop a while back for quite the deal (sub $2000). While salvaged, it runs perfectly fine with the exception of needing a manual cam chain tensioner (a normal problem with what seems like all CBRs). Plastics were all taken off, replaced by some redbull plastics. Also powdercoated as much as I can on it for practice. Needed a brake lever, and left front rotor (warped from the accident). Has a Yoshimura RS-5 slip on which sounds pretty nasty to me, but in a completely good way.

Here's a quick video I took when I bought it

So, here it is. And let the story unfold.

January

Tried gold for the rearsets/pegs (didn't like it)

Early February (Gloss red w/a silver metallic flake)

Mock up of the front end (rebuilt front forks, powdercoated upper/lower triple and speedo mount bracket)
