CB350 Scrambler Siblings

Seat pans are ready for foam and upholstery. Time to tear down the bikes to finish weld the frames and freshen up the engines.

Started to make some exhaust when I realized that the bends I've had laying around are 1.5" and not 1.25, so it will have to wait until next week... in the meantime I'll get to work on the engines.

You don't waste any time!

Thanks man, I'm trying to make a deadline to help out one of my customers with shipping.

Make sure you box in that tubing really well at the transition to the stamped frame member.

Got started on my stepped exhausts today. 1.25" to 1.5". The 1.25" is very close in length to the stock sleeves. The muffler has a 1" quiet core. One exhaust will be ceramic coated black and the other raw stainless.

Good fit-up makes good welds.

Definitely will do. I'm also going to miter in a 1" round tube horizontally right behind the tank, just behind the square/round transition.
When you send your horizontal seat tubes forward, are you bending the tubing right before the tank, to insert into the square tubes? I forget, it's something like 5.5" between those tubes, and I found that just squeezing my tubes from the hoop, to fit, doesn't allow the seat stays to align with the hoop tubes.
I guess I have to buy a tubing bender.

That's an interesting exhaust transition. Gathering all the supplies to make a 1.25" SS exhaust myself. Still trying to come up with a flange, where it goes into the head.
Can you share a picture of yours?

I use the stock clamps, I like them.

Will this nice exhaust be available for sale someday?

Yes, that is the plan. Handmade and purge welded with quality 16ga stainless. I am hoping to have pricing and a few sets ready to ship by the end of May. I'll probably start a thread on here, but I will definitely have the info on my website asap. CatskillMtnCustoms.com

Thanks for the interest!
