XS650 Cafe - Build #4

I just wanted to post a quick update to keep this thread to date for anyone whom may be following.
Recently the xs650 has been sitting neglected while I've been working on some customer fabrication projects.



I've also been plucking away on the cb350 scrambler that I am building to be sold when complete. I recently finished up the new tube subframe and aluminum electronics tray.



I hope to have some updates on the xs soon!

I'm really enjoying your thread! Any idea of how much weight you have managed to lose from the frame with your mods?

I really have no idea about the weight change. I probably shaved some weight from the frame by cutting out the clunky section that held the original swingarm pivot, but the new swingarm is a little heavier than stock. The monoshock saves some weight as well. So I'm probably down a few pounds, but not too much.
