Acewell 2853 rpm jumpy

I've installed an inline 1k resistor and it's slightly jumpy on my cb360. Did the same thing on my k8 cb750 and it's steady. Any ideas? Bigger resistor or double up?

Check the routing of the wire. Try to keep it only near one coil and away from the other.

A capacitor sometimes helps, too.
