I would love to see this go to a DTTer.
For sale is a 1982 Suzuki GS450T with just under 11,600 miles. Asking price is $400, OBO. Location is Bay Area, California.
This is a project bike that will need a decent amount of TLC.
Things to know:
• Exterior has some surface rust, but the fuel tank interior is largely rust-free
• Electrical systems are good - everything lights up when you turn the key, and it fired up and idled briefly last time I tried (few months ago)
• Has a brand new battery, new spark plugs, new oil filter
• VIN is out of the DMV system, so no back fees, but you'll need to apply for a new title (shouldn't be much trouble)
• Seat cushion is in pretty bad shape
• Definitely needs a valve adjustment
• Tires are flat, so it's a bit tough to roll around - something to consider if you're looking to push it up a truck ramp
• Comes with a Clymer manual, new oil filter gasket, and new valve cover gasket (gaskets still in packaging)
