Re: 91 honda nighthawk cafe project

final mock up of tank and seat, when i realized that the current seat was not quite wide enough and began my search for a steel dunstall style seat that could be modified for 2 up when needed with a removable seat plate on the hump of the seat, also lowered the clip ons between the triple trees.

how cool,

i like them a lot so far, have not been able to get them on the road quite yet, production of my seat will be starting tomorrow. so hopefully it will be sooner than later. i had to go a size wider in the front and rear but they fit flawlessly and make it look more aggressive

Those tires are sexy, I wanted to run the same ones of my 350, but I would have had to change wheels etc and that was to much work :) Looking good!

did some serious seat mock ups with the measurements i had drawn out, came out great. taking the templates to a local welding shop tomorrow to get built.

i got the fork gators from speed moto co off of ebay,

and the cx500 tank doesnt fit too bad, modifying where it attaches to the frame, the width fits fine into the original position but it puts the bolt on the rear of the tank a few inches back and it just looks funny, after moving the front C attachment rubber things a few inches up and welding up new mounts it will look better and bolt into the stock location in the rear
