  • I need to make something like that to close off the corner of the yard by my shop
  • Today at 10:47:19

  • Some are cast iron safe, some are not
  • Today at 10:39:58
  • advCo:
  • Hmm yeah I'll look into it some more before I use it
  • Today at 10:38:55
  • Maritime:
  • My FIL used a foaming root product on his, it was cast from the below the sink to 2 feet outside house. it ate through the cast at an elbow and the sink started draind onto the floor. He was able to fiberglass it to fix but if it had eaten through a little lower it would have been bad. It's acid so clay and plastic is safe, iron is not
  • Today at 10:18:31
  • advCo:
  • Hopefully I can keep it at bay, I don't want to dig it up any time soon lol
  • Today at 10:07:20
  • advCo:
  • I read some reviews that people had used it on clay pipes for 3-4 years straight and had it scoped and no damage at all
  • Today at 10:01:49
  • advCo:
  • All the pipe outside the house is PVC, theres a small section of original cast iron from the end of the sink plumbing to the bottom of the foundation I think
  • Today at 09:59:49
  • Maritime:
  • be careful with the foaming stuff, if your pipe is cast iron it can eat through it and make it leak worse.  If your PVC or ABS you should be fine]

  • Roots suck
  • advCo:
  • Kitchen sink drain plugged up again even after I pulled a 12" long x 2" diameter ball of roots out on saturday. Got some foaming root killer on the way, hopefully it kills any remaining stuff between the cleanout and street
  • Today at 09:46:17
  • advCo:
  • Yep I'm pretty bad about leaving bits and change in my pockets. Gotta be better about it, I never want to take that rubber boot off again.
  • Maritime:
  • Ha, good thing, left that bugger in the pocket of yer pants or shirt
  • Today at 09:38:07

  • JustinLonghorn:
