Bar End Mirrors

Why do I see so many cafe racers with only one mirror on the handlebar.Could the problem be that when you put the mirror
on the throttle side it causes the throttle to stick like what happend to me today, can someone help.

Legally you only need a left side mirror and since cafe riders are into "less is more", don't bother with the right mirror. Besides, cafes look lame with 2 barend mirrors. Yeah, a right side barend could bind against the throttle sleeve if the grip catches it.

Thanks DrJ I think that is the problem with the mirror binding with the throttle, I guess I'll jump on the band wagon with the mirror on one side.. Thanks....
