Modifying Frame for Cafe Racer Look

You can still customise this bike and make it look cool, Bobbers and Choppers are only supposed to look cool anyway. Good luck!

Agreed. A speedometer that only goes to 80mph doesn't exactly scream "performance"

Speaking of looks... I'm trying to clean up the bike (specifically around the engine) without dismounting everything. At this point I'm pretty much only using Simple Green. But I'd like something with a bit more intensity to it. I plan on taking off the engine cases and polishing them up too. Any tips on what I should use that would work well for either cleaning the bike, polishing it off, or both?

And how the heck do you get into the engine fins?

With that wheel nut at the back end, spray with penetrating oil repeatedly over the course of a day. Then try tightening it very slightly before slacking off. Doesn't work every time, but it's worked for me in the past. I've also been known to apply heat from a blowtorch - DO NOT DO THIS IF THERE'S PENETRATING OIL ON IT!!!

Learn from my mistakes and keep your eyebrows.
