cb450 shift shaft removal

Yes, but you have to take the clutch off. You pull it out from the right side of the engine and it is behind the clutch.
 
I'm not sure how familiar you are with this engine. To remove the clutch, you first have to remove the centrifugal oil filter. To remove that, you need a special socket.
 
Thanks, I've assembled this motor before but the cases were over a year ago. No worries about the oil filter, I've got the Cappellini conversion so it should be twice as hard...but at least I dont need that annoying socket
