PID Controller help !!

Any of you guys or gals have experience with PID controllers?? I have an Auber Instruments SYL-2352 for my powder oven and I am too dumb to
figure out how to get it going. I have power and everything seems to be wired correct but I cant figure out how to "turn on" the element..
I have downloaded the instruction manual but its over my head, I'm not to proud to say that either 8)

You thinking my element is bad?

Put a meter on the output terminals to check for voltage when it should be heating up. Was it working before,or a new purchase?
