I had a VF1000R a while back and have been keeping an eye out for a reasonably priced replacement.
I have the F as a 'second choice' in that search, but even they are getting hard to find in good shape/reasonable price.

I use that same pinesol/sander setup for cleaning carbs, works great. Though the crystallization after rinsing always bothers me a bit, but I think that's the result of hard water on clean aluminum.
