My 1974 CB360 Brat, eh..

Back to the build!

More Wiring! I know people aren't the biggest fans of these little batteries on these smaller bikes, but I picked the EarthX because it has a built in balance charger, it doesn't require a special charger as well as it has overcharge protection and over discharge protection.... So technically I shouldn't be able to fry this battery.

Honestly, if it was for Sonreir's wise wisdom this bike would have never got wired!

Thanks for the kind words and good pick on the battery. We became a retailer for that brand (the first and only battery we currently offer) this last week.

Tires are 4.00x18 in the front and 4.50x18 in the rear.

That is crazy size tyre on 1.60" rim, the rear is just as bad on a 1,85" rim. I thought I was pushing things fitting a 4.25 on a WM3 rim (2.15")
I don't know if it's the camera angle but tyres look 'narrow' for the listed size.
Have you measured them on the rims?
You really should fit wider rims then you can use smaller tyres that fit properly and actually look bigger than whats fitted now
Looks good though ;)

Yeah... it might be little crazy, but everything seems to be fitting.

Haven't updated in awhile so I figured I would share.

I stripped the bike back down and get everything powdercoated. Should have done that from the start, live and learn.

Back to being a roller.

A few more details.

Also I seriously hate wiring.

I LOVE the way that tank looks man. How did you get that texture on the tank? Angle grinder? If so, what grit wheel? Howd you do it??

You got it, angle grinder and a lot of patience, as for the grit, I honestly can't remember.

It's beautiful. Love the tank because it looks hand worked and has just right amount of luster (not too reflective). Excellent work! Thanks for sharing!

Looks the nuts, how did you create the rear mudgaurd? Is it brought? Built? Or the original chopped down?

Yeah it's the license plate mount, unless you are talking about the little fender, which was cut down from the original.

Sorry if you've commented on this earlier in the thread, but what's the source for that headlight? Thanx!

I'm actually nearing completion, couple detail items but it's pretty much done.

You have some really good pictures showing just how much the sidewalls of tyre are 'bending' to stay on too narrow a rim 8)

Would you happen to have any other shots of your electronics tray? How did you manage to squeeze everything in there??

The battery makes it possible.

Yup, it all comes down to the battery and simplifying the electronics to the minimum. I barely got everything to fit, would have loved if the box was an inch bigger.
