  • Oh man, I feel your pain Mike.  I went a month once, it was a bad scene.  Ended with colonic irrigation, every bit as alarming as it sounds.  Yes to weed and coffee, and industrial strength laxatives.

  • Ha, thanks. It really sucks. Opiods suck. I tried to stay off them but tylenol alone wasnt enough the nerves started burning. O just walked the halls for half hour hope some shit happens soon.

  • Hurco550:
  • those harbor freight ring rollers really do work well and arent that much scratch if you wanted to make hoops.
  • Oct 11, 2018, 12:24:39
  • advCo:
  • You guys making out alright with the storm so far?
  • Oct 11, 2018, 12:09:43
  • irk miller:
  • Yep.  I get that, for sure.
  • Oct 11, 2018, 12:08:23
  • advCo:
  • I'm working in a HF portable garage so the sucker has to get rolled outside to weld anyways. Not the ideal situation but gotta do what I gotta do
  • Oct 11, 2018, 12:01:58
  • advCo:
  • Yeah. I would build the hoops if I had plans to restore another bus in the next 5 years
  • Oct 11, 2018, 12:01:20
  • irk miller:
  • If you have a way to bend hoops, and you want to use that much material, I can see it.  But I don't like how they block the body.    I've used both and I prefer the rotisserie.  Personal preference and restriction on space, I suppose.
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:57:07
  • advCo:
  • All this rotisserie talk has got me hungry.
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:55:20
  • advCo:
  • Most guys are just using hoops and rollers

  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:52:39
  • advCo:
  • Yeah, that uses the bumper mounting points though. That shit is weak on the bus. Plus I have to graft a donor piece to fix a front bumper mount frame member while its tilted up
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:52:27
  • irk miller:
  • If you leave the fenders on, the you grab from underneath.  They're unibody.
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:51:02
  • advCo:
  • If i already had a rotisserie, I would do it that way
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:50:40
  • irk miller:
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:50:25
  • advCo:
  • Yep, but the whole thing has to be boxed and reinforced if I build a rotisserie, and then I have to deal with the COG
  • Oct 11, 2018, 11:49:20
  • irk miller:
  • You can mount it in the same location.  Roadrunners have the same chassis style as busses.
