Post a pic of your latest purchase

This happened today. Not a purchase though, it was given to me by a friend. 1984 V65 Sabre. Can't wait to get this running.

Get her running and roadworthy first. Then get it cleaned up. All I want from this is a good dependable runner. I would love to find an OEM Honda (Hondaline) fairing for this thing.

+1 I like those old fairings, hate the GL of the same era but those I like. That's a very quick bike, but a pain to get at the carbs etc.

Nah, there's methods. I can pull them in about 10 minutes. Feel free to PM me if you want the nitty gritty on pulling and reinstalling them. I don't use the "ratchet strap" method. Also, when you go through them, the emulsion tubes are different front/rear, main jets MIGHT be different front/rear and Slide springs ARE different front/rear. Otherwise, they are nice carbs overall.

Just got this in. It's bigger and a better manual than expected. Handy. I dig tech manuals. For my FXR.

Well that's a great score, you must be glad you went to that show...

Picked up a BMW R60/6, all running with lots of completed engine work, for $750AUD. Got a lot of big plans for this one...

That's one heck of a deal.

Going to try to get a truck to pick this up next week. If I can't find one reasonable, I'll drive up and trailer it back to the shop. I've been wanting something with 12K RPM, this has 15K.
