Out Of state Driver's license/title-can I register my motorcycle in TX?

I have a Illinois Driver License, however I plan on spending the next few months in Houston, TX. I was planning to bring my bike with me, but didn't know if I can drive around with my IL plates without any problems? Or can I still register the bike in Houston with my IL driver license? Thanks!

As long as your bike is legal in IL and youre still an IL resident it doesnt matter. You dont need to register your car with every state you go on vacation in...

You should have no problems as long you do'nt plan to live here in TX, then you will have to transfer the paper work and make your bike a Texan..
