The result is a bit less than perfect ;) Think I'll make another one after the bike is on the road...

At last all the wiring are hidden! This was helped by using a Motogadget m.unit. So easy to use. Configured for a 4 button setup. Nice and minimalistic.

Just need to buy some transparent hose for carb draining(?), and figure out how to hide the crankcase ventilation.

Almost at the finish line! Fabricated a bracket for the license plate. Will be mounted behind the left shock.

How did you get it through without central rear light? They usually never let that through?

I have a thin led strip i the hoop. But installed some approved turnsignals to keep the officials happy...

Neat! Thought it looked like you had the light above the plate but then its just plate illumination. So the strip has built in turn signals as well i guess.
And aint it nice not to ever have to get it inspected again? Love the new rules!

Had some problems with my GM HEI conversion so I decided to go with Dyna S. Need some adjustent though.. Mounting plate is a bit big.

Test ride went fantastic! What a difference. Before it was a realy boring bike. But now it’s fun! Seat is comfy enough. 1,5 hour of riding is no probs. Carb jets are #42 pilot and #120 mains and it’s almost spot on. Think main could step down one number and pilot up one to be perfekt... but who cares. I had a blast

The build never stop... Made a tacho plug today.

This summer has been very hot in sweden and this is not a good combo with balance training and an air cooled engine. So much sweat

Got my license today! A 38 year old cafe racer gets some attention when all other bikes are MT/FZ07-kind of bikes. Did notice some things. Got a lot of skeptical comments about riding a really old bike for the license test, but proved them all wrong 8) Low clipons are not ideal for really slow precision driving. Original mini disc brakes are not the best you can get when 90-0 (km/h) braking. Takes some hand strength. Pod filters are very loud.. when trying to hear the examiners instructions via radio ;D

Might have some riding to do this weekend!

Got my hands on a rear hub. Now it’s time to do some cleaning and alot of polishing. I have not yet decided on what front hub to use. But will somehow put on bigger brakes. So if it will be a SM hub or CB hub with adapted VFR750 (or similar) disc is not decided.
