Re: "The Flying Ferkel"

Looks like its going to be hilarious. I'm in.

Re: "The Flying Ferkel"

Cool idea. What type of engine are you using?

Thanks for the comments fellas. It's all about entertainment! The engine is a Yamaha 250 V-twin that was laying around from some previous project.

The frame was basically built to make use of the spare engine. As to the frame tube being the gas tank question...I'll get back to you, maybe. It's oval exhaust tubing.

The girder turned out pretty sweet IMO.

This will certainly be entertaining. That large of a cross section with this small of a bike, exhaust tubing should be fine.

The girder did turn out great. Are those all custom pieces?

My only criticism so far is that I don't see how you are going to adjust drive chain tension, but I'm sure you've worked that out.

Met a man at a flea market this morning....he told me 50 years ago he bought a Merkel from a friend for $15.... He still has it .... I offered him double....he said he would trade it for a ford model t.....anyone got an extra kickin around?
