cb 750 f2 78 cafe build

slowed up a bit :( had to use the good weather to keep the missus happy by doing a few home improvements ::) plus I aint too good at the wiring side of project :-[ managed to get stop n tail light to work ok and starter & horn too got no spark at plugs ?? will look tomm been out to sherburn on my other old- un a couple of times for a ride :) at least to clear my head haha probably end up at classic TT on me push bike haha :eek: once electrics are sorted I can finish odd bits off then she will be ready to roll gonna post some update pics this weekend 8)
 
Honest mate thought I was looking at the wiring of a spaceshuttle :p could not get my head round it this time :-[ probably cos previous owner already chopped wiring loom about plus I wasn't using everything and its all in different place gonna remember for next time haha took me two days to get rear light to work and still had one wire left over :eek: wait till ya see the pics you will piss yerself at the state of me wiring looks like a birds nest haha :-[
 
Lookin sweet yozzer... One sweet build for sure. Oil tank looks great on there, looks to be much bigger than i thought, way bigger than stock even. Whats the capacity of that thing? Keep up the great work!
 
Not sure on capacity but yeah it is a lot bigger .Hope it's ok think it should help keep oil cooler ..lol
 
Hi can anyone help I'm wanting to order some new piston rings but how do I no what size they are .there's no Mark on piston that I can see .to say there standard or over size ??
 
Few things back today oil pump service kit and seat pan back from powder coating .off to be upholstered tomorrow

Bloody Hell yoz that's looking fantastic 8) theres a BOTM knocking at ya door soon as ya done guess we got plenty of dark winter nights ahead for final fettling ha ::)
 
HAHA I know that feeling alright :-[ not just missing out on my project but even having a ride out now n again :( managed a few brownie points taking her to IOM tho ;)
 
Think I might try a weekend away soften her up a bit .Oil filter kit from voxonda. In Holland arrived too

like the idea of that set up guess it replaces the original filter so you can use the cartridge style instead doesn't look cheap tho
