Junkyard crawler
Hey guys, just thought I'd share a little bit about my bike that I've been working on for a while. Story starts with an ill-maintained 75 cb550 and ends with something I'm pretty proud of. Bike was all but done when I joined this sight so I guess we will just pick up in the middle.
Originally, I went with a 7" headlight bucket, clubman handlebars, and mostly chopped up factory parts. Decided recently that it wasn't working for me, so off to the junk yard I went. Found a neat 4.5" headlight bucket with a knockout for a speedometer and things snowballed from there. Shortening cables, and simplifying wiring was the big one with this project. New bars are on, headlight is getting powder coat, and I'm killing time adjusting valves and changing oil until all the pieces are here to finish it up. Pictures to follow.
