I'm about to install a bates style light and want to hide the wiring (birds nest) inside the headlight....does anybody have any ideas on where and how to hide the wiring?
You'll never be able to hide all the connectors in a small aftermarket headlight like you can in a big stock one. Most bikes I've seen with these sorts of headlights have custom harnesses / M units.
If I was to do it, I'd redo the harness and have the connectors under the tank.
I run a Bates headlight on my chop and no way can you stuff enough of a normal harness to fit. Like hillsy said, mod your harness carefully and hide it elsewhere. Trying to stuff too much harness into too small of space can break or weaken the connections.
