Project X-Mass - Wiring sucess! Ready to move ahead

That's how I've dealt with it in the past - crimp a ground loop on the wire headed for the neutral switch and pull it off.

Well here she is in all the rewired glory. Ran her around the yard as is and got stuck in the snow. Was fun as shit. Ran great and will get her back together soon.

Oh yes and I ordered the spring to fix.the shifter too. That will make shifting a lot easier.

Thanks, we tried to make a path around the yard but the snow was just too deep and the bottom kept fetching up. Oh well, We'll just keep going on the restore for a few more weeks then let it loose in the yard.

Ok so went to do the shift spring and unfortunately I need to.pull motor from.frame so that will be later. So I put the busted fenders back on and made the wrong seat fit until the one I ordered off ebay arrives. Ready for a Saturday of abuse ;D. We will strip motor from frame in a few weeks to finish project and repair plastics and paint. But should be fun on Saturday!

Yep, we are going to if we ever get a warm day. I bought a heat activated epoxy to fix the big crack in the front, seems to be holding, time will tell. We are going to try the paint on the plastic, the new seat arrived and locks on properly but the cover needs a redo, good fabric, bad apolstery job. As soon as I can get my FIL's pneumatic staple gun I will re-do that. It takes no time at all to strip this sucker so I think the first warm weekend we will crack into stripping it all the way down, motor out so I can fix the shifter, paint, re-assemble then ride the crap out of it.

So repairs begin again on this little rig. A lot of shit got in the way but we are back on track. Got the side cover off to fix the return spring only to find it was a bad stop, broke right off and sitting in the cover. Ordered but kindasucki have a delay on.parts at the moment so we wait.
