76 CB550K

Hi everyone, I have a 76 CB550K running rough. It was running fine, a little fat but good. New plugs, been through the carbs, looks fine. Sporadic idle, backfires a little. Please help. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I would go ahead and check your carbs first. If I was in your shoes I would order a carb rebuild kit to eliminate most of your carb issues which may or may not arise. Then I would do plugs/wires/coils and check timing.

Lean. Shitty fuel. Have you cleared the tank? If not do it then clean your carbs

+1 with Sneikz but theres a lot it could be go thru and clean carbs again a pain I know but worth it unless you can find which one is popping then check for air leaks and check the tuning /timing ,valve setting plug gap give us progress report and we'll see where to go from there mate
