What did you build this week?

SONICJK

Reminds me of...me No, I'm sure of it. I hate him
I know this is a motorcycle forum, but it's also a builders forum.
I build all kinds of things, (furniture for a living) from tools to jigs to anything I need but don't want to buy.

Basically I just want to see what everyone is building other than bikes 8)

This is my latest furniture piece

Here's my heater for my bike shop:

Bike Shop work tables:

Etc.

Lets see it

Very cool Sonic! Nice work man.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I really just love building stuff.
I think I'm going to build a vertical mill here soon. Or try anyway

I finally finished a resto of a GT750A Suzuki and started on a Cafe Racer meets GSXR conversion to another GT750 just for laughs.

Hey sonic, is that bike table made from a conveyor bed? I used to design those at a former company. That blue looks like the color we used for the fedex beds.

I dig the single piece table top. I feel like most people would have left the lie edge, but it looks really good squared up. Nice job man.

I've got a maple burl I'm working on currently, I'll be sure to post up when I finish it.

Edit: looking at it again, is that actually three pieces?

It is in fact 3 pieces, just very carefully glued ;D
I left just a little bit of the live edge on one corner, the rest is squared.

I'm sure you've all seen my workshop stuff, so My other hobby is RC Car's and I love rebuilding them simple :) pick them up all busted and broken on the cheap and make them look awesome again ;D

I like this post. I build crap whenever I need too. Latest was a nice accent table for the wife out of a huge cedar drift wood log that washed up on shore near the house.
