Hello all, My father and I recently purchased a 1980 Honda CB125s. We have been working on it, and we are having trouble with the carburetor. When we got the bike, there was a MIkuni VM22 26mm carburetor on it. We took it off, cleaned it, and got the bike running. But we think the float in the carburetor isn't working, as we have taking the bottom of the carburetor off, filled it, and it will run until it uses all the fuel. we know the gas gets from the tank to the carburetor fine, but it isn't letting more gas in. My dad thinks it's filling the bowl but just not enough, however we are able to drain it with the fuel line on. If anyone can help by offering a fix to the problem, or a different carburetor we could use on the bike it would be greatly appreciated.
